Reviews of The Queen Mary

Jim
This hotel has a comfortable and unbeatable location in front of a bus stop. The venue offers awesome and amazing breakfast with non-sweet food and a great view of the harbor, for instance.
-
Charles
The room was been remodeled but retained their original charm and available with all the modern amenities. The location was remote, close to the nearest restaurants as well as the "old" Queen Mary.
-
Judy
The views from the Queen Mary were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sea view was a delightful experience, and the interior design was truly captivating. I also had the pleasure of joining one of the walking tours offered by the hotel, which provided an insightful and interactive exploration of the historic ocean liner.
The sound of bottles being dumped into the dumpsters outside could be heard throughout the night, right above the trash area.

Neat and luxurious place, has incredible views of the Bay and sunset. The room is well-kept and the bed is comfortable. It has responsive staff at the reception desk and comfortable and absolutely perfect location in front of the aquarium. And it's nestled in a very unique building near Long Beach shoreline, main areas and the Queen Mary for an event.

Staying at the Queen Mary was a unique experience. The rooms were spacious, larger than typical cruise cabins, and had a vintage charm to them. The view from my room overlooked an interesting scrap yard, and the intricate interior designs added to the historical ambiance. However, I was surprised to find paint peeling and some tiles missing in the bathroom of what was marketed as a first-class room.
While the overall ambiance was charming, the soundproofing in the rooms was not ideal. I could hear my neighbors very clearly, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Overall it was well-kept and a nice size with 2 twin beds. This was a historic and best possible location near to a museum where the likes of Liz Taylor, Fred Astaire or Winton Churchill stayed, the Queen Mary as a fantastic alternative to LA and all the restaurants.
